Farah Khan Osteopathic Practice – Solihull
Is chronic pain limiting your ability to carry out daily tasks or forcing you to abandon favourite pastimes? Painkillers alone cannot treat many common ailments such as spinal pain, neck or shoulder discomfort or headaches. Farah Khan is a fully qualified and registered osteopath working out of Balsall Common, for patients in and around Solihull. Using a holistic approach, she provides tailored care for osteopathy, cranial osteopathy and osteopathy and pregnancy treatments.
What is osteopathy?
Osteopathy is the diagnosis, management and treatment of musculoskeletal disorders without using surgical methods or drugs. The primary concern of the osteopath is to provide holistic care that includes manual physical therapy such as deep tissue massage and stretching. They will combine these techniques with exercise and changes to daily routines and diet to aid recovery.
What to expect
If you live in Solihull and suffer from any musculoskeletal related pain, we welcome you to visit our practice in Balsall Common for a consultation. Initial visits typically last an hour and have three stages:
Consultation – We will discuss the nature of your ongoing pain and also gather a portrait of your full medical history and lifestyle.
Examination – A physical examination will involve some movement tasks to inform the osteopath of your mobility.
Diagnosis and treatment – After the assessment, we will discuss the diagnosis with you and lay out a treatment plan for you. We always take the utmost care to ensure our patients are comfortable with the approach we suggest for them.
